Great fun weekend
 
The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. One of the waiters in the restaurant was very witty and chatty. The holiday homes were EXCELLENT and very tasteful. The only fault was the bar was small for the size of the hotel however the music and atmosphere on the night could not be faulted. We had a ball! I will definitely take the family back again!

Heaven in a haven with great views......
 
Having arrived a little hassled and late for my treatment, the spa were just ringing reception as I checked in. Reception were very professional in allowing me to drop everything and go straight to my ... treatment which was excellent. Everyone should experience a treatment at the start of their stay. It set the overnight stay off to a great start for me. Food was excellent and I really like the idea of a complimentary bus to Kinsale. Only wish I had another night there to experience it. My only complaint was France beat Ireland in the rugby which I watched from my bedroom (out of your control I know). Flat screen tv's would look better in the rooms, otherwise, keep doing what you're doing cause you do it well. ---

Hotel was excellent. Really good rooms. Also rented some houses and they were fab also. Food in restaurant was ok but service took a long time.

Excellent Trip
 
Myself and my boyfriend took our second trip here for valentines after falling in love with the hotel on our first stay. We had a gorgeous view of the lakes and mountains from our room. We had our ... evening meal in the restaurant and the food was fab! The service is great too!! We also had a massage in the C spa which was just wonderful! I would recommend it to anyone! The pool, sauna, steam room, are just so well kept! ---

Valentines weekend
 
Its a pleasure to review the Carlton.My husband and i spent a great Valentine's weekend there recently.Staff were very courteous and helpful.The room complete with champagne and choc had a great view and was spacious and spotless.The food was delicious.We both enjoyed the spa, walks around the hotel and the general atmosphere in the hotel.

Spur of the moment getaway!
 
My boyfriend and I decided one Tuesday to take the next day off work and college for a bit of catch up time on the Wednesday! Spur of the moment things can be 50:50 but this one definitely worked out for ... us!! The offer we got was unbelievable and we have informed almost everyone we know about it!! We stayed in Kinsale and the surrounding areas were beautiful, we even suggested it to my boyfriend's sister who got engaged at Christmas to have her wedding reception there! Our meal in the hotel restaurant was fabulous followed by many drinks at the bar! The bar man was so friendly and helpful, he spent the night trying to make a cocktail to suit my tastes and had a brilliant laugh with him! The next morning we had breakfast, followed buy one of the most powerful showers iv ever had in my life! Had a stroll around the grounds, took some photos and off home to reality! It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay! ---

Fab hotel in a Fab location
 
Just back from a 3 night break, just what i was looking for a nice peaceful location with fantastic views and a beautiful 4 star hotel myself and my partner wanted this peaceful haven as my mother had just passed away all the staff were very friendly and helpful i will definitely be back again maybe under better circumstances

Wonderful friendly Hotel with an amazing special offer deal
 
My friend and I stayed at the Carlton House in Kinsale on their wonderful special offer which was a full four course meal and overnight stay for the amazing price of 45E per person. It was a most ... pleasant stay and we were greeted with courteous efficient friendly staff when we arrived. I was most impressed with the gorgeous meal and the attentive staff who were able to assist and cater for my friends coeliac diet. Our room was very comfortable with lovely view of the harbour and we availed of the lovely breakfast which was very reasonable at 13.50E the next morning. The Carlton at Kinsale is a hotel that I would definitely visit again and immensely enjoyed my short stay with them. ---

What a night!
 
We had a fantastic experience. We went for meal and stay for free deal.The meal was fabulous, steak and duck, we got bumped up to a suite on arrival as our room wasn't ready, the staff were fantastic, really nice gym and pool as well. We've stayed in the Carlton Kinsale about 5 times and it's still our no.1 destination for a quick getaway break

Myself and my partner stayed at the Carlton Kinsale at the beginning of January, for our anniversary. We had a wonderful stay. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and ... spacious with breath-taking views. The restaurant was an experience in itself, as the food was exquisite and service was exceptional. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning in the near future. We would like to say thanks to all the staff too. ---
