Just returned from a two night break in the hotel and would 100% recommend it. The food and facilities were excellent and the staff very friendly. It was so quiet and relaxing - a perfect weekend retreat.

My Parents have just come back from a two day stay in the Carlton Kinsale .They had a wonderful time and said everything was outstanding .The staff were very helpful and friendly. The Rooms were spotless and well equipped.They enjoyed every moment of their stay . They will be back !!

We found this hotel on the internet and decided to give it a go. Although it is located a short drive out of Kinsale (5-7 minutes) it was well worth the drive. The room was excellent ans were all the ... facilities. The restaurant was very nice serving quality food at a reasonable price. The views from the balcony over Oysterhaven are superb. All the staff were very helpful and easy to talk to, unlike some other establishments, they always had time to sort out our requests. Well worth the drive. ---

We stayed over the New Year Holidays this year and it was the most relaxing family break away we've had. Facilities were so good we didn't move off site! Highly recommend Bar Food and staff, we will be back again and we haven't stopped telling family and friends about it. Thank you all...

Stayed for a couple of day after Christmas (a gift) got an upgraded room with fabulous views. All the staff very friendly. Had dinner in the hotel 1 night we were delighted with the choices. The service ... 1st class. Delighted with the bus that will bring you in & collect you from the town in the evenings, very handy as we could both have a drink & not worry about driving. Will be back again. ---

We had a 2 day break in a truly super Hotel. Couldn't say enough about the standard of service displayed by everyone in the Hotel. The staff really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. ... The Duty Manager even drove after one of my friends who went for early morning walk to give her an umbrella and bottle of water. Staff in this hotel really understand the meaning of what a good Customer Experience should be. We left this hotel with fantastic memories of a truly magical experience basically due to the professional and courteous approach demonstrated by all staff in a hotel that is a hidden gem in beautiful Kinsale. Keep up the great work, we can't wait to come back. A number of our friends have since gone to this hotel since our visit, who have all had an amazing experience. The Carlton Group must be congratulated in their training and choice of staff ---

Lovely hotel, lovely view, what more can you ask for? The food was delicious and there was a great selection for breakfast. Staff were so helpful, they really couldn't do enough for you and it really felt like it was no trouble. Would like to stay there again some time in the future but will take full advantage of the spa next time as that looked fab!

The Carlton hotel is a hidden gem just outside of kinsale.From the second you arrive you know you are somewhere special and a lot different to what is on offer close by. The grounds of the hotel are ... beautifully landscaped with a waterfall by reception been the star attraction. The hotel blends effortlessly into the amazing surrounding landscape which can be viewed at your leisure from the upstairs bar.The hotel equally impresses on the inside with a large open reception area where a bright and warm welcome awaits you. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to any special requests. The rooms are very fresh and comfortable. The food is second to none and believe me you wont go hungry but try leave some room for dessert. ---

Had to thank all the staff at your Hotel, arrived on Friday, 19th November and was checked in by Kim who was extremely helpful and very pleasant. Felt relaxed from the moment we stepped foot in the ... foyer. Had a meal both nights in the restaurant, which was gorgeous and we were greeted by such friendly staff once again. I really didn't want to go home, will definitely be back. Thank you for such a lovely weekend, you should be very proud of your hotel and team of staff. ---

Attended a wedding here recently and thought it was superb. Location, staff, food everything was excellent. Staff were exceptionally friendly. Would recommend to anyone.
