Carlton Hotel Kinsale

One of the nice things about staying in the Carlton is that it's a few miles outside Kinsale, with good parking, but has a regular bus service to town each evening at a moderate rate.

We stayed for two nights. We are regular visitors to The Carlton Kinsale, since we discovered it six years ago. It's a great place to relax in its beautiful woodland setting overlooking Kinsale ... harbour.The rooms are very well appointed with beautiful views particularly on the sea facing side. Although the hotel is a couple of miles outside Kinsale,the hotel provide a regular shuttle bus service to the town. Excellent Hotel with friendly, helpful staff. We will return soon again. ---

I stayed with my girlfriend for a weekend. I booked the suite which was amazing, our own couch, walk in wardrobe, jacuzzi bath, views from the bed of the lake. The huge balcony with the view of the lake ... is unbelievable. We really enjoyed our stay, staff where very friendly and helpful with finding things to do. I would definitely and have recommended this hotel to many friends. My girlfriend also said yes so I left with a fiancee. Brilliant trip! Definitely going again ---

We stayed in the Carlton Bridal Suite for 2 nights in October 2013. This was one of the most beautifuL suites we have ever stayed in & I am so looking forward to showing off the fabulous hotel to our friends & family on our Wedding Day next October. The staff were so helpful & friendly.

Thought it was an amazing hotel with amazing views and service. Staff where amazing and pleasant. Room was beautiful. Price wise I did think it was a bit expensive with regards to food, drink, etc. However would highly recommend this hotel.

where to start 5 star treatment for 3 star prices great location really good accomadation but by far your staff are your best asset friendly and welcoming your customer service is second to none and my family have been converted to the carlton hotels charms so much so that i have booked 20 family members into carlton tralee for new years eve

My husband and I spent 2 nights at Carlton Kinsale. Fabulous food, staff so friendly and so impressed with leisure centre.We availed of reduced rate and were charmed by the excellent hospitality.Well done!

Lovely peaceful setting with woodland and water views, spacious rooms and very friendly staff highly recommended.

Had a lovely stay here last February. Great views from restaurant and bedroom. Although we were half an hour late for breakfast there was no problem. A great atmosphere around the hotel and in the bar over the weekend. Shuttle bus between hotel and bustling town of Kinsale. Will return very soon.

We have just returned from a family week end in Carlton in Kinsale, the hotel itself is excellent, food, room, service, the location is superb, mature woodlands sloping down to the sea and the proximity to Kinsale and the sea makes for a wonderful experience
