The modern & bright design of the restaurant in this luxurious Kinsale hotel enables guests to relax and enjoy our delicious food accompanied by a glass of wine from our extensive wine list. Our 90-seater restaurant will specialise in fresh home made produce and when it comes to cuisine we have big ambitions.
We offer breakfast every morning from 7.30am to 11am, with prices at €16.00 for a full Irish and Continental breakfast.
Our
a la carte menu which includes our popular “Hot Rock Menu” is certainly worth a look at. Our motto for the rock – “Your Food the Way you like it” is certainly proving to be a hit. Choose from Yellow Fin Tuna, Dry Aged West Cork Beef, Fresh Scallops and Prawns & East Ferry Duck Breast and much more. Cooking food on Volcanic Rock at 440 degrees is certainly going to get the temperatures soaring.
“Signature Rockpool dishes are prepared on our Hot Rock serving plates. Dishes are served on a Polished Volcanic Rock which has been superheated to 440C. This method of cooking has been used since 2000BC, no oils or fats are used in the process as such is a very healthy way to eat.
Try our dry aged beef, sourced locally from Twomeys Butchers in Macroom, all of our Irish Angus beef is reared in West Cork and is aged for 28 days until fully mature, or for the seafood lover, what better way to enjoy fresh, locally caught fish and shellfish with a nice glass of chilled white wine on our balcony overlooking Oyster-haven bay”
Head Chef of this Kinsale hotel, Kieran Duff, heads up the kitchen with a team of 10 and busily turns out a bill of fair with modern, fresh and home-made cuisine with an eclectic twist. Kieran's ethos is that simplicity is at the heart of his menu's adding that fine food is about pure flavors and great textures using only the most excellent seasonal ingredients sourced locally.
